Dear Pete, what will we do without you. Always there for information on train times and platform numbers. Always a reassuring presence in a turbulent world. Stoic, calm and reliable. Love you and miss you. Sleep tight xxx
I'm so sorry Pete. Truly. You were too young. First love, true love.
Pete, I'm sitting here in a signal box as a mainline signalman. This is all down to you. The friends I have built are mostly down to you. You helped me learn block signalling when I was 11 at GMRS. You got me into Lea Road and Central boxes. You lit the match that turned into 35 years of signalling interest. I'm just sorry you never got to visit me for a brew. Rest in peace chief. You'll be missed.
Rip Pete , the brush will never be the same again, had some good times out and about , you will be missed , 7-5-5 Chief

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
